Tijana grew up in Europe and was influenced by different cultures and languages. Her ambition and optimism lead her in search of other experiences and places. She lived and worked in Serbia, Netherlands, Belgium, and United States, and traveled around the world. Through all of these experiences, painting has remained a vital part of her life. She studied fine arts in many settings, including Art and Architecture Institute St-Luc, Brussels, Belgium, Ah Haa Art School, Telluride, CO,Atlanta College of Art, Atlanta, GA , and Savannah College of Art and Design, Atlanta, GA. Tijana excelled as a SCAD student achieving many awards and honors. As she settles in Lahaina Hawaii, she is creating work that reflects on her experiences and cultural diversity. Her goal as an artist is to create opportunity for continuous deep self-exploration.
